Quick Navigation:

Q.)What counts towards my allowed data transfer (bandwidth) amount?
A.) In general, "data transfer" refers to any data transferred into or out of a site. Graphics, text, movies, sound files and programs that you or your visitors either download or upload are all considered to be data that has been transferred from your server to a remote computer.
Data transfer totals include:

* Transferring files to and from your site through a Web browser using HTTP.
* Files uploaded or downloaded through Microsoft FrontPage. When editing Web pages with FrontPage we suggest that you upload only those pages that have been modified. This assures that uploading your Web pages will result in the smallest amount of data transfer.

Data transfer totals do not include:

* The usage of your POP3 e-mail client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook) to send and receive e-mail.
* Files uploaded/downloaded through FTP using your account User ID and password.
